Mann HU727/1 C&P Mercedes E320

Mann HU727/1 from a '95 Mercedes E320 with 161,000 miles. Needs a HG (oil leak rear passenger side), been putting it off... now almost three years later and 12k miles, gave in to oil change. Pretty much all short trips, WFH for last 2 due to COVID. Filter didn't fare too well, a number of tears visible. You can see the pressure delta caused tears where the media was pressed against the inner tube.

and I've been adding whatever leftover or odd oil I've had on hand as its beens slowly leaking... 10W-60 TMS, 5w30 Toro, 20W-50 haha. Not a do, as I do.

Remember this OCI did exceed MB's (and also Mann's) recommendations.
It simply isn't what both engine and filter where designed for. Thought that
way this kind of outcome was to be expected. Thanks for the pictures proving
that unless it isn't a surprise.
