Mann HU722Z

When I purchase a filter for my car Mann HU722Z( 2007 Audi A6 ) It comes with 2 gaskets. One goes in the filter housing, the other is a large O-ring which goes on the outside of the base. I was looking to purchase a couple more and saw that the Wix 57204 only shows the gasket which goes inside the filter, not the large o-ring. The Fram equivalent CH 10160 does not show any gasket but says gasket included. Do both of these include both gaskets? Would you need to change both out each time??

Looking at all 3 filters on Rockauto, I think Fram CH-10160 is the best buy (if it includes both gaskets). One way to find out is contact either Rockauto or Fram.

I didn't change any gasket(4 of them) every time I change the cartridge filter in my '00 E430, I only changed all 4 gaskets every other time, so that I still have a bunch of gaskets laying around in my tool box.

All ways change the o rings, they are cheap and you will never get the oil ones back on. They swell up a little when in use. So just buy some and keep them on hand.... Cheap insurance....
