Mann Filter HU 7010z cut open, 14,895 miles

This Made in Germany filter came off of a 2015 Mercedes Benz Sprinter, 2.1 liter 4 cylinder turbo diesel engine. 14,895 miles on the filter and about 21 months in use, 113,358 miles on the engine.

Out: This filter and Pennzoil Platinum Euro 5W-30.
In: Same filter and same oil.

Mercedes calls for 20k oil changes, but I have always done it at 15k just because. Filters always comes out the same as going in, and I haven't seen any debris in the pleats ever. Either this Mercedes engine doesn't produce a lot of junk that gets accumulated, or the Euro oil keeps things in check even after 15k miles and almost 2 years in service.

I only use Mann in my German cars. They all seem good no matter country of origin. The last BMW ones I got were German, the Mercedes has a South Korean Mann in it now. Same Green and Yellow boxes, just says COO on the filters themselves.
