Manmade sounds that bring you joy.

A train in the distance - just to be assured that there is civilization.

Otherwise, none except classical music.

An F-4’s afterburners at takeoff.
The lope of a carbureted Harley at idle. Even better when cam’d.
The sound of a suppressed firearm.
Kids playing.
Common sense when spoken without hostility or rancor.

Funny, the things I ponder in the wee hours of the morning by myself. In the solitude of nothing happening. Birds chirping, waves crashing, yeah, yeah, all great comforting and calming. Started thinking about what sounds are manmade that are like that. Then the ding of the coffee maker went off signifying a full pot of black heaven. I could actually feel the serotonin start to flow.
The start-up of a jet engine. The hum and warmth of the heater kicking on.

The sound of V-2 Ducatis, V-4 Hondas, and I-4 Yahamas, Kawasakis and Suzukis screaming through the trees down the long curved straights of old Hockenheim during the golden age of World Superbike racing in the mid/late 90's.

I was gonna say 12v71!
As a kid in the early 70s, I loved to hear the fire trucks at the local house up the street respond in anger. All American LaFrances with 8V71s, the tiller ladder was even a manual! Coming to a stop on overun while on the Jake, they would give me goosebumps. Kinda like this one.
