Man invents oil filter prefill tool

Does a dry oil filter go in to bypass on first startup, at first install? If it does, that may negate some of the dirty side / clean side concerns.
No.
Air will pass through a filter material easier and faster than oil. Air pressure delta should be zero.
It would take a very large filter to have prefilling make enough difference in engine life to bother. Little car filters? Naw, just makes the obsessive compulsive better because they're carrying out their voodoo ritual. Tesla had to circle a building 3 times before he would enter. He still died in his hotel room.

I always put a little oil in and rotate it to saturate the media . It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy , and I'm going to continue doing so no matter how many people take exception . :p
This. I feel that pre-saturating the media is the goal here. My Mazda makes a terrible rattle for several seconds on initial startup if I don't prefill. Even on horizontal mount filters it's a worthwhile effort IMHO.

Was hoping for some better feedback. He seems like a good guy, and every time I asked him a question he always answered politely. I'm sure if you bring negative energy his way he will respond with the same energy. In my book new inventions are welcome, but not all people appreciate them.
I don't youtube, so I hadn't seen this video, or any of his videos, and then somebody sent me his "response" video to this thread, and it absolutely reaffirmed my position on why I don't go on youtube. I've never seen somebody talk about nuts, how salty they are, and their involvement with mouths so much in my life.

Between the comments about nuts, there was something about vagisil and the entire membership of this forum being stupid because of the comments that he didn't like being made in this thread.

I have no comments on the product beyond agreeing with what Zee posted that there's obviously a use case for huge diesel filters, which is why both Caterpillar and John Deere had, in the past, developed something similar.
