Mobil 1 Oil Filters

Was from the internet using a Google search.

Now that I looked at a Mobil 1 filter, I'm pretty sure that big drop of oil with crossed out means...

Check for leaks.

Maybe Circle Cross Oil Drop on a Mobil 1 filter means no oil but on my filters it wasn't in the right place for that. Besides, what's wrong with oiling a pre oiled gasket?

Thanks to a Wix coolant filter the step that I interpreted as "puncture" actually means.

"CAUTION A Bent or Damaged Filter May Rupture and Leak"
