The Car Care Nut may give some biased opinions especially on things like filters and oil, OEM or nothing. But he is one of the best Toyota mechanics out there, he does the job right.

The Car Care Nut is a lot more professional, friendly, doesn't let his ego take over and doesn't insult people in his comments for simply disagreeing or being proved wrong on something so they are in completely different brackets.

Worse than that is the complete lack structure and punctuation. I hear the broken speech of a poorly raised teenager and it is uncomfortable. I think we understand that this YT channel is a means of coping and that's okay, but there's a point where it is not healthy to anyone.

I tried pre-filling a filter for the 2.4 of my Honda. It has a tilted angle when mounted, so when I tried to attach the pre-filed filter a lot came out, and made a big mess.

Fill some and let it soak in, and then check it at the same basic angle it's mounted on the engine. Repeat small fill shots and checks at angle until it's as full as it will get without coming out while the filter is installed.

I was just about to comment this, great video! This guy does a decent job on all his videos and is super funny.

Anyone that has seen Ford Boss Me on TikTok or YouTube prior to this "product" video already knows that type of content he makes. More moly = more better, more calcium = more betterer, more ZDDP = most best, more snake oil = most bestest .

Was hoping for some better feedback. He seems like a good guy, and every time I asked him a question he always answered politely. I'm sure if you bring negative energy his way he will respond with the same energy. In my book new inventions are welcome, but not all people appreciate them.

Great summary of that hilarious vid, thank you. That video is imo a great example of the dude using "Projection" as a defense mechanism. As for his 5'10" comment, think my reply would be, didn't know they piled it that high.

Unfortunately it has been proven over and over again with him. If you don't agree with his opinion or question him in any way, he becomes combative, bans you, and deletes your post. He doesn't want to have a rational conversation about anything, he wants to live in his own little echo chamber where he is the all-knowing best.

He's free to have his thoughts and invent whatever he wants to, and he's also free to be an a-hole. Just don't assume he gets a free pass to do it.

And no, you don't get to hide behind 'I had a bad childhood'. You're a grown up adult playing the adult game, don't make excuses for why you respond the way you do. Grow up and either be a good human or don't be one, but again, don't expect a free pass. If he truly wanted to protect his mental health, he'd disappear from being online. Forcing yourself into the public view is one of the absolute the worst things you can do for your wellbeing.

I have seen countless of videos of him being rude to people who simply ask a question or state their experience or politely say he is incorrect on X topic.

Your experience may have been great but it doesn't negate the fact that he treats other people like they are below him.

You know what's interesting as well recently he stated he found a engine Prolube worked in for him and quieted it down, but month after month prior he was calling people out for saying the product worked for them. I am not sticking up for Prolube btw this is just one example of it.

Sure its not universal but for home use might be good.
