I don't think sprintman is saying that and i have no idea what the salesrep from Schaeffers is saying. INDYMAC go to http://www.auto-rx.com and print out the application and follow it.

Read the FAQ go to the Auto-Rx Forum. Amount of miles for maximum cleaning covers all vehicle engines including Honda.

OK. I won't ask anymore stupid questions...well, maybe just one more:
I recently flushed my Tundra transmission fluid, but want to add the Auto Rx to the auto transmission now because it is making some screeching/squealing sound when it shifts under high loads of power. I will have it looked at by my mechanic to see if it might be a belt, pulley or bearing issue today. I see that the application instructions say to leave the 6 ozs in the transmission for 1000 miles and then flush with new fluid. Are there any adverse consequence to leaving the ARX in the transmission for longer than 1000 miles? Also, is there a chemistry conflict between ARX and full synthetic ATF that may require longer cleaning phase in the transmission, similar to the previously stated concerns about synthetic engine oils?

Please don't refer me to the ARX website again, or it may lead to another stupid question!

No conflicts with any transmission fluid. Auto-Rx will have cleaned yout transmission and torque converter at 1000 miles. You can keep it in longer without harm. However how long do you want to be driving with a dirty transmission.

When you drain transmission fluid no need for any additive.

Question for you do you find the Transmission part of the web site easier to understand and impliment?

The transmission part of the website is fine. I just wanted to ask these questions because I just flushed it with some Schaeffers synthetic ATF and really didn't want to dump it so soon. I'll just wait for awhile before I treat it with ARX. The mechanic I had test drive my truck today said he couldn't duplicate the shifting noise, but said I definately had an exhaust manifold leak. So I have a new, bigger alligator close to the boat right now.
