MAHLE OC 707 Cut Open

Ran this MAHLE OC 707 for 5K miles on my Frontier with PUP 5W-30. Other than some sloppy glue, looks to have held up well. Hole in dome end was from me pre draining filter before removal.

Too much glue is always better than not enough.

Looks new... Are you sure it has 5,000 miles on the oil & filter?

Looks good. These are the same filters I use on my Xterra for 5000 mile oil changes

Honda and Nissan has been using this size filter on their products for at least the last 15 years. One would think if size was an issue, would have cropped up by now.
