It seems neodymium magnet is temperature sensitive
I like samarium cobalt, thats what i make mine with. Withstands the heat, only downside is it can chip easy.It seems neodymium magnet is temperature sensitive
sump oil temperatures in most daily drivers rarely exceeds 250F normal driving conditions. So I am not sure even neodymium magnet would be so negatively effected? IDK maybe? Never really thought about that? Any general specification to share? It seems neodymium magnet is temperature sensitive

Some sources say Curie temperature of neodymium magnet can be as low 177f. It depends by the type. Samarium is way higher.sump oil temperatures in most daily drivers rarely exceeds 250F normal driving conditions. So I am not sure even neodymium magnet would be so negatively effected? IDK maybe?
