Macked up the curb a little bit, how bad?

But, for the record.. I do not know who "carnoobie" is. Someone mentioned that he lives in Canada; I am in a suburb, South of Boston.

Do you not read any other threads on this forum, or do you really only come here to create new ones, and only stick with those threads?

These are threads created by carnoobie:

You don't need to read the entire thread, but, just read his introductory post of each thread, and you should get an idea of why people are comparing you against him, and chevyboy14.

The three of you have very similar posting styles, in quite a few of our opinions.

BC.

As valid as that may be, and you are right, I do not look at many threads, in whole, including whatever you posted up as reference (and I like you, Bladecutter. You give some of the most informative posts!).. That is unfortunate because I do not know who that is.

My Zip code: 02189, Approximate.
My ISP: Xfinity.
I do not know how much clearer it could be that I am not this person.

... And? I find it hard to miss.

Did you not see my reply to you, specifically in the other thread? https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2824675#Post2824675

That poster's Mobil obsession/vested interest is his problem, not mine.

I like you, OVERK1LL. And I haven't been back to Sam's.

Now: Here is that promised picture.

GHT:

My point was that I'd like you to leave tig alone. He's not a pundit for XOM, he's simply used their product since pretty much its inception and has had excellent results with it. That's why he recommends it. It has nothing to do with him working for XOM (which he doesn't, he's retired, but welded professionally and still does odd jobs) or any other sort of twisted diabolical scheme to pander Mobil products anonymously on the Internet.

You have far more important things to be concerned about in your own life and in regards to this car than to be wasting your time making fun of other members on this board just because they happen to have a fondness for a particular brand of motor oil.

I did see your reply in the other thread, but let me give you a tip here: If I make a comment to you in THIS thread, don't make your reply to me in another. That doesn't make sense, breaking a conversation up over multiple threads and makes it extremely difficult to follow.

Hmmmm.

OVERK1LL: That's fair. I will agree to that. *Handshake.*

You are a good guy, OVERK1LL. Thank you.

You're too young to remember...didn't Google show you?

Curb feelers started in the 50s with whitewall tires (you probably don't know what they are either) and then finally died out in the 70s.

Think pimped out early 70s luxo-barge...the kind that "Huggy-Bear" would have owned...

Oh, wait, you're too young to remember "Starsky and Hutch"...

Prozac would probably work better

What has he got a doctors degree in?

Though passing exams is not always a sign of Intelligence or common sense.

I know of many degree holders that I wouldn't trust to butter bread!

Hopefully and most of the time the tire hits the curb before the rim. But you have stock rims with healthy flanges for sticking crimp weights on; that flange will hopefully take the hit before getting the structure of the wheel. (Aftermarket rims often don't have that flange outside, for "looks".)

Also if you look at lower profile tires they often have a little thing on the sidewall about 1/2" out from the bead that's basically a curb bumper. You might not have it, looks like around 195/60/15s on that car.

GHT and John McAfee should have a red bull together at a narcissist cafe. perhaps they could think up a nice story about how his dog was poisoned. oh yeah, be sure to post a reward on your blog for 25k for whoever "finds" the killer of his neighbor.

This is the weirdest thread I've ever read on here.

Also, that picture doesn't help. Can you clean it and then use adequate lighting to take a pic?

Eljefino is the only guy who can put some sense in to GHT (and actually help him quite a lot!) but for some reason, Elje is too smart to get dragged in this mess.

Anybody who watched Elje's Ecotec adventure can contrast them with GHT's ongoing saga. See how Elje made lemonade out of his lemons in few short weeks and made a perfectly running car for his brother-in-law.

Both of them are in the NorthEast. Seriously, GHT should talk with Elje.

Yes. Has been done. https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2825755#Post2825755
(I originally intended this to be discussion on curbed wheels.)

Y'all lost me with that one.. I am unsure who said doctor's degree in what.

Unless, you are talking about the sweetest medicine...

No, he comes on to flame tig1 about Mobil 1 as well apparently.....

This made me laugh because I'm pretty sure tig1 would know how to repair a scuffed alloy wheel.

How, by putting some mobil 1 on it? *rimshot*

Sorry, I feel like that was a good exception to our agreement.
