M1 was $22.47 a jug for several months, while PP and Synpower were $24.97. Now M1 went back up to $24.97, Synpower went down to $22.47 and PP stays the same.

I'm *almost* grateful because I went there to get two jugs last week (0w40). I'm glad I got those two at a good deal, but it was such a headache checking out and navigating that store. Now I won't be tempted to go back.

If they offered some kind of reasonable shipping to home, I'd buy from them.

It was a shockingly amazing price though. I still can't believe it. $4.49 per quart is wild for 0w40 Mobil 1.

The pricing of these 3 oils will always be close to each other since they all all on the same tier as far as good/better/best is concerned.
I knew M1 wasn't going to stay budget for long. A couple bucks doesn't really mean much however these 3 oils are going to leapfrog over each other, each boosting their cost to the consumer.

Apparently, cheap synthetics at Walmart aren't a birthright after all.

Our Walmarts in Montreal have no more $24 jugs of Pennzoil Platinum or QSUD.

They are all the 5L formats for $46+ per jug.

If I can't get cheap synthetic anymore I am sticking to Mazda 0W20 and plan on skipping Walmart for oil.

I'm thinking along those same lines too. Although I'm sure Walmart is going to run their roll-back specials on whatever their cycle is it was nice to see M1 finally included in their rollbacks.
Now if only they would bring jugs of M1 0w-40. If I ever saw that stuff in jugs at 25 each I'd buy them all.

I don't know how soon we'll see jugs of M1 0w-40 up here, if it all. There are still no jugs of the stuff on Imperial Oil's sell sheets.

Meh....it's WalMart. A month from now it will be marked at $23.99 with a MARKDOWN price tag showing that the previous price was $24.97 and they will be showing you how much money you will save with the "huge" price drop.

Of course I only use M1 regardless of price. But a penny a day increase doesn't hurt my budget.

I can't believe how much attention a price difference of $2.50 makes in the USA.

Over here the regular price difference between Synpower/Ultra and M1 is $30!

Bout right. M1 Rolled back $2.50 a jug for a good while, now back up. Normal.

What isn't going up???

Crying over $2 for a expenditure of a couple times a year is ridiculous... On the average a fill-up of gas will vary more than that and that's talking at least every couple weeks for most of us...

About how much is the price on a quart of that?
