I'm surprised to see the TBN is that low, as well as the shearing that occured. The 10W-30 Mobils are usually quite robust.

Looks like a good report. Lead is a little high and insolubles also. Still a good report. How many miles on this engine? I would change the air filter and repeat. If no improvement in lead, I would auto-rx the thing.

53791 Miles at the end of the oil. Installed a new Air Filter. (generally every 25K I'll put a new Air filter on).

Plan on sending another sample off at 5k, found a old PC hard drive so I slapped the magnets on the side of the m1-301 filter.

After 5k OC I will run Amsoil 10w30 and eao15 filter.

the wear numbers seem out of whack to me. i dont think it likes the M1.

Those Tacoma engines generally are very low wearing, I agree with the statements above that M1 might not be the best choice for this engine.

Newest Left. Oil has a 1K Mile round trip on it. Looks to me 6.5k max that M1 EP can take.

I'll dump oil in 2weeks, should be under 6k and replace with Asmoil 10w-30.

Tbn is low for that mileage, but it's also not linear with mileage so it's hard to tell.

I think you'll find the Amsoil to work better.

dont sweat it, my bro in law went 28k on coastal oil... last 10k with hardly any oil showing on dipstick, 2 quarts low...he always pulls this [censored] and car still runs with 220k on it...but engine is louder...his mpg went down quite a bit, but that is Bushes fault...high gas you know...running on 2.5 quarts of used oil means nothing in his mind haha

Everything looks great but you should be able to go longer with the EP. Lead is close to normal. My lead always runs a little more than most people. I think I lug the engine trying for good milage. This is on a straight drive Miata. Gives great milage but my lead is always about 4ppm after 10,000 miles and 3ppm at 5000 miles on this oil.

10w-30 EP out of toy, 10w-30 ATM w/ EAO15 added. Lert drain while I rotated tires and greased the drive shafts.

6.0 quarts to fill. 1/2 quart more than speced in owners manual.
