I have 1 qt.mobil 1 15w50, can i mix with 5 qt. mobil1 5w30 (new formula) My 2003 f-150 5.4l (6 qt.capacity) for spring/summer months. by the way wally world lowerd $ on 5 qt jugs of new M1 from $22.42 to $19.22 !!!!

I have used M1 15-50 as a top-up or just to add to what I need over 4 lts that I need to fill the sump on my GM 3.4 slapper.... I practise this especilly during the hot summer months on the thinner 5-30.

You can mix M1 anyway you like and not hurt a thing. If you are trying to make the 5W30 a little heavier you might try the 0W40.
