93 Grand Cherokee, 1st 100k original owner dealer serviced every 3k. I have used M1 10W30 since, avg about 5k OCI. It has intake leak since I bought it and have also used K&N replacement filter in stock airbox for the last 100k. Switched to M1 10W30 HM last time so this is second 6k on HM. My first oil analysis on the Jeep. Looks pretty good to me with 209k. Blackstone says go 7500 miles.

Still going with a bunch of miles so you must be doing something right! Is that the 360 motor?

The last 100,000 miles with a k&n air filter!! Looks like it must work better than some say????

High mileage for me. You could argue that I should have gone with longer intervals in the past or cheaper oil with these intervals, but you can't argue that the intervals used so far haven't worked.

I've done one analysis on my truck and this is the first for the Jeep so extending the intervals is a new idea to me. I've used synthetic for years based simply on perceived quality, not longer drain intervals. Since finding this forum, I have been increasing the mileage between changes.

Why care if the engine isn't "high mileage" it's not like HM oils are anything but normal oil with (in M1 HM case) a better addtive package...

CHROMIUM 2
IRON 23
TIN 2

The combination of the above values seems too high to call this report very good for 6K miles in this engine. I blame that on the intake leak and K&N air filter despite the low silicon value.

If I remember correctly those numbers are within Blackstones' parameters for the 4.0L with a 5000 mile oil change.
