M1 0w-40

Hello everyone, I writing from Guatemala, so sorry for my English, I recently brought a case of Mobil 0w-40 that says in the bottle European formula, for my wifes car a BMW X3, But I have to sell the car, Since already have the oil, I guess if I can use it in my other car a Mitsubishi L200 pickup whit a turbo diesel 2.5l motor, I don,t know if 0w is too thin, since Here the temperature almost never get below 10C.

0w is only a winter rating. It doesn't mean the oil is thin. The second number (40) is the important one.

If your engine requires a CF lubricant then M1 0W-40 will be OK

Thank You for your replies, the manual just says cd or superior so I think it will be OK, Now I'm guessing if 10,000km (8,000Miles)would be a good interval for this oil.

8-10,000 miles should be fine with this oil.
