This is my friend's BMW 2001 325Ci I6 UOA.
He bought it in January 2012 at about 160,000 miles and used only M1 0W-40. His OCI is between 7K and 10K miles on the oil.

Car leaks a bit and he adds about 2 quarts of M1 between oil changes.
Oil filter used was NAPA Gold
75/25 Highway/City

We still have to do the valve cover gasket and Vanos seals later on. When I do, I'll take a picture of the engine with the cover off and post it here.

Comment away.

Thanks. I decided to get a TBN after we fix the oil leaks. Though I think running this oil for 7500 to 8000 should be OK.

75% highway miles are real easy on an engine and the air must be clean in your area because the Silicon figure is real low which helps.
10K miles should be easy for an OCI if you want to use good round numbers, although a TBN figure would be interesting to know. Not sure why the flashpoint is on the limit. The block should be clean after several M1 OCI's, as it has a lot of Calcium based detergent.
