Burger King on its best day is just meh. The staff shortage definitely can’t help things.
When we went to SC recently, our daughter wanted to stop and try Cookout (it was a quick-bite-to-eat stops, then back on the road). She heard about it on TikTok as had my wife and son, so we tried it. It was .... okay. I definitely can't say "man, it was great, I want to get it again !".when Cookout is right there?
I was wondering if Roofless would chime in. I knew he was in that area...Why in the hell would you go to BK when Cookout is right there? And it's one of the best.
You were a stone's throw from my hangar. PM me next time you come through and I'll show you around.
Smithfield BBQ was like, right there too. And 76 has the cheap gas by the highschool.I was wondering if Roofless would chime in. I knew he was in that area...
Except for Whataburger, 5 Guys, Cookout, Checkers, DQ, Hardees/Carl's Jr, Sonic, and A&W.McDonald’s and Wendy’s have the best fast food burgers.

My opinion Cookout is gross. I only go there for floats lol. I’d never eat a burger from Dairy Queen or Sonic. Hardee’s is pretty good when they are open… usually they close around 2pm here due to lack of staff. We don’t have an A&W or Checkers or Whataburger. Still not much beats a McDouble plain with only pickles and cheese I can eat four of them things cause they are so good. Son of Baconator is good as well. Five Guys isn’t fast food but they will only cook their burgers well done which is gross if I am eating at a burger joint I want it medium to medium rare.Except for Whataburger, 5 Guys, Cookout, Checkers, DQ, Hardees/Carl's Jr, Sonic, and A&W.

That Burger King I went to is probably the reasonWhile staying in a Fairfield Inn in the Lumberton area a few years back- stopped at a local sports bar for dinner. Guy next to me said either the county that Lumberton is in, or the county next to it, is one of the most deadliest counties (murders) in all of the USA.
I did not verify what he said..... but noted it ....... while traveling on I95 and stopping in the Lumberton area.

And through all my travels to most of the USA on a regular basis.... the one state I would never want to be on the wrong end of a situation is Missouri. In rural Missouri, unlike most other states.... if one is murdered.... no one, and I suggest no one, will talk about it.... ever....
