Running a tank thru my truck with Lucas fuel treatment, top end lub, etc ... their "Tune Up in a Bottle". I normally run a can of Chevron Tech thru the truck every few thousand miles but not any longer. I am so surprised by this Lucas product. I never expect to notice any difference when using one of these products, just a safety measure. But with the Lucas product, my truck is performing better and running smoother.

I don't work for Lucas or have any tie to them whatsoever. In fact, this is the first product of their's I have tried. Appears to be a very good product.

If it works for you great, but I've read too many no so good things about Lucas to use it ever again. I'm not badmouthing Lucas, just stating a fact about a lot of the previous posts about it. I use to use Lucas Oil Stabilizer, until I saw the gear test.

But then again I have an inlaws car (yes, I metion this piece o'crap a LOT don't I?) that I'm willing to try ANYTHING to lower the oil consumption rate from 2 quarts every 500-1000 miles!!! This is the car that I'm running 15w40 in right now, and it calls for 10w30. I'm 'both ready to try 20w50, even though winter's coming, just to slow down that consumption rate.

I would not put any of their product in my oil either ... I don't put anything in the crankcase but oil. This gas treatment appears to be the real deal though ... in my pickup at least.

Well hey then, use it, enjoy the extra benefits, and meet ya at the pub for a cold one!!

I've used thier UCL and had great results. I've been using FP60 for over a year and tell you the honest truth...I've not seen any change good or bad...its just there.

I have been using Lucas UCL for the past year with a slight increas in fuel mileage maybe .2 per mpg on average. It also smoothed out a rough idel in my wife's old ford. I just bought a gallon of FP60 but have my doughts about it.

Have used UCL for the last 2 1/2+ years and have had a 2mpg increase in mpg. The car was EPA rated at 39/43 new and the first 37thou it averaged out at 41mpg overall. Since June 03, I have used 2oz per 6 to 8 gal fillup and my average has been 43.3mpg overall for the last 80+thou miles, the car has 118+thou on it today.(98 Suzuki Swift) ave 41+winter/45summer with numerous long runs of 48mpg-best before was 46 on long runs. I swear by the stuff. Best place I have found to buy it is at NAPA-$22.50 per gallon.(best-best deal I got was at a Shucks for $16per gallon but I had to buy a case for $64-it was a one time good deal for they won't sell it to me for that any more, I go to NAPA now being they always have it in stock by the gallon.
