Guys,

I sincerely believe that Lubegard is the best stuff you can add to an automatic transmission.

My question is, how does it compare to Lube Control? I would imagine the LG is the preferred product since it's designed JUST for trannies.

However would they complement each other?

Lubeguard Red is mostly an anti-oxidant in a base of synthesized esters.

LC is a lubricant, anti-oxidant, and a cleaner.

Lubegard frees stuck valves. That makes it a cleaner. Its an ester oil which makes it a lubricant.

Lubegard is a lubricant, anti-oxidant, and a cleaner.

I wouldn't mix both. Pick one and stick with it.

Or, avoid both, use synthetic ATFs with additional cooling and filtration.

Sounds like they are almost the exact same thing! Only the Lubegard has LXE or liquid wax esters.

Lube control doesn't have any LXE in it does it?

What if you had a tranny that already had some LC in it, and you wanted to add some LubeGuard LXE.

Would it be a bad idea? COuld the respective ingredients interfere with each other?

WOuld it be completely useless, because LC give all the protection you need?

Thanks

Lumberg
