Never realized how high my pressures were. My truck’s door sticker has 68 PSI in front and 75 PSI for the rears. 2026 GMC Sierra EV.
If your tires show 80psi, then you have E load range 10 ply tires, typical to 3\4 and 1 ton trucks.=realistically to much tire for the weight of your truck.
Your tires are stiffer than typical c load range tires, or 6 ply
I run 40 in my lx570, with 10 ply e load range, BFGs.....and it is heavier than your Canyon.
I run 38 front 35 rear, load range e on f150. I didn't even want E tires but no choice in the size

F150 - I run placard pressure 35psi when unloaded/not towing. When towing max sidewall 51psi.
Here’s my door placard on my 2008 3/4 ton Suburban. I will go with 50 psi in all four corners when not towing.
On my Tacoma with load range E LT235/80R17 cooper snow claws, 50-55 psi unloaded works best for me. Much more than that and it rides notably harsher and much less than that causes abnormal wear on my front tires.
I've always been taught and told that most LT tires need atleast 40 psi in comparison to p- tires which can run less. You could try doing a chaulk test on the front tires or pay attention to how the dirt is rubbed onto your tires after you drive a bit. For a truck I like to inflate the front until the dirt "mark" is just on 3/4 to 1/2 the shoulder of the tread.
For a truck I don't set the rears lower than the fronts because I don't like the way the truck handles and if you put something in the box without adjusting the tire pressures like that, it truly does not drive well.

My 1997 C2500 Suburban says 35 psi front 50 psi rear when not towing or hauling heavy. For max capacity or towing it calls for 50 psi front, 80 psi rear.
Door sticker says 60 front 80 rear. I'm at about 55 front 60 rear.
Looking at inflation tables and knowing that my truck weighs around 6100 pounds -- it goes over the scales at the dump frequently but it gets lighter every time I hit a bump --, I usually run 40 front and 35 rear when empty. E rated 265/75-16 on my 01 F350
If I'm towing my Jeep I'll bump the rears up to 60-70 which is still overkill. But I feel better having more PSI in the tires when I'm on the highway towing at 70MPH for longer periods.

60F/60R when unloaded, when towing they get bumped up to 70F/80R.
