Tires - Looking good
Tach - The change is probably psychological. Oil/Filter cannot change RPM vs Speed readout.

Nissan- My friend owns a 350z with the auto tranz (ouch) and although they are different cars, his car did the same- and heres how i think he corrected it. Disconect both battery cables, touch the + and - cables together, away from the battery. leave them apart from each other and away from the battery for another 15 minutes. plug terminals back in. Turn key to the 'on' positon- do not turn the ignition on. Depress accelerator for 10 seconds, let go, turn key to 'off' position, and turn the car on. see if that helps ya any

I had an Olds a few years ago that suddenly started doing this, and it's totally unrelated to your oil change. There's a pressure switch in the transmission that tells the torque converter when to lock / unlock. Mine went bad, so I was only getting lockup during very light acceleration in top gear. If I tried to hold a steady speed, it would unlock and I'd gain about 300 rpms. They replaced the pressure switch, and the torque converter returned to normal operation....stayed locked until I stabbed the gas or touched the brakes. Have it checked out...this can have a significant effect on your highway mileage and the constant slipping during long drives can really heat up tranny fluid.
