Rather than an old camper, we should have bought an ark:

Last MayDay we received 18.0" rain in 36 hours. This year, we're seeing a ton of rain, but at least it's spread out over a few week time period.

People in southern Illinois, Missouri, Kentucky aren't so lucky as they received the bulk of the nasty weather, in addition to a foot of rain.

Last night's storms that moved thru mid-TN early this AM fizzled somewhat, but were still powerful enough to knock trees down.

Two more days of this.

And Texas is in a severe drought....

The mid - northern part of Alabama may well get hit hard Wednesday too.

Back in the Midwest in the Corn and Soybean growing states fields are wet/flooded and farmers can not get into their fields for spring planting.

Some are predicting 10 Dollar Corn. Read too that 1/3 of our Corn Crop is used for Ethanol production.

Higher Corn prices impact the price farmers must pay for feed and that ends hitting us in the pocket book in the grocery.
