Lost a bet; have to wear Invicta watch

Yeah, that's a common approach in SCCA autox, especially with FWD cars that usually are designed to understeer at the limits. Reducing that understeer vastly improves their handling & overall steering response. And in many cases the mods are easy & inexpensive. Sometimes all it needs is a stiffer rear swaybar, no need for shocks, springs, etc. At least start with that, see how it works, you can always do more if necessary.
We went opposite on McPherson strut FWD cars during AX days. Stiffer front bar, since SCCA allowed only 1 bar swap in street class. McPherson gains camber in positive direction on compression. Our compromise to maximize the footprint was to prevent some of the articulation of the front suspension. We also noticed stiffening the rear and not the front would increase the likelihood of doglegging. The most the front compresses, the more it tended to lift-up the back.

On double-wishbone FWD, rear bar was our play.

Channeling my inner Crocodile Dundee, that's not an Invicta, THIS is an Invicta.

Only 58mm in diameter.

That having been said, some of their diver watches aren't all that bad, but when Invicta wants to go out on a limb with a design, they have a habit of going waaaay out on said limb.

Note: that is not my arm/watch. It needed to be said.
I guess I'm old. I like a nice diver's watch, or Chrono, but I could never understand why someone would strap Big Ben to their arm.

With pilots, my running joke is that most are over the age of 50 and have lost their near vision, so they need a gigantic watch they can read without glasses.

Good point. I never thought I'd need reading glasses to answer a phone, then enters caller ID. I can't read it w/o glasses!

The person you lost the bet to, if a real friend, would take satisfaction in beating you. That should be enough, no need to actually make you wear that.

I get that. Several years ago, Aragon was clearing out some quartz watches and even though I don't like them that big, there was a 50mm watch that had a price too good to pass up. Even though it was cheap, I should have saved my money because it's way too big even though I have a large wrist and I don't wear it much.

Do the stems on all of these come out at the 9 o'clock level? Seems difficult for a right handed person to set since they usually wear them on the left arm.
