The additive technology does not contain any solids or molten metals regardless of the marketing that ConocoPhillips is using.

Afton Chemical is the sole provider of this additive exclusively to Conoco and they are adamant about the fact that this is simply a supplement not intended to replace traditional anti-wear components in lubricating fluids. This is simply a way of formulating a oil additive that reduces emissions by having no sulfur, metal ash, or phosphorous. By doing so, ConocoPhillips can formulate their oils with LESS ZDDP and achieve reduced wear at the same time.

This product truly is the real deal. If you have access to any of the 'Liquid Titanium' additized products that meet your engine builders requirments then they are worth the price of admission.

However, keep in mind that there is not 100 PPM of titanium in the oil. This is a misuse of the word.
