Thanks Userfriendly, yeah I know I'm finding this is all quite complex and it can get confusing quickly. It's also tougher because it seems to be both qualitative and quantitative from what I can tell.
Mark, thanks I think I know which M1 chart you mean as I've seen reference to it before. I'll ask, but I suppose it will have to wait till Monday now. I'm not sure if Castrol would have something similar for me, since it seems that people have trouble enough just trying to get any information from them about this oil...
Chris, that's pretty interesting and I appreciate the compliment, although my engine is designated the VE30DE, which is more or less the predecessor to the VQ30/35DE ('95+ Maximas). It's been known to surprise a few competitors, though not by me personally.
Now the VG30DETT is another matter all together...
By the way, at another forum I frequent someone had mentioned the 5L Mobil 1 containers were a limited edition thing and that you should grab them while you can... I have no idea though since they don't have them up here.
Well, it looks like I've got more things to find out and some thinking to do. It almost seems like I could simply flip a coin between them though...

EDIT: I forgot to mention that in all honesty, I probably won't be performing any VOAs or used oil analysis. I simply want to use good products sensibly and I'm just not as "hardcore" as you guys!
