Not even close to a decent mid range watch never mind an entry level Rolex.

Lol, thing is a Rolex is on "Rolex time"... A little off. Mine is right now.

It needs servicing or needs to be worn more. All Rolex are COSC at a minimum, that being said being a quartz movement in a cheap $25 POS from wallys will be more accurate than even a 100K Tourbillon.

If it cost more than $100 its not about telling time anymore.

Yeah I bought it new in 06 or 07. It needs a tune-up. Still... COSC is a few seconds every day. I havent adjusted my watch since daylight savings.

when I see someone prancing around with a high priced watch on their wrist it looks like a poor attempt at flaunting a status symbol.

Then you must be a knowledgeable collector, most people couldn't tell a high price watch if it hit them in the head.
There are lots of cheap big gold tone POS on the market that many people mistake for high end because they don't know any better, just watch SNBC.

Most high end and high priced watches are 44mm or less and very low key in fact some are downright simple like the entry level A. Lange & Söhne 1815.
Owning high end watches isn't about flash, status symbol or flaunting wealth, its about owning something very special or even an investment.
