Hybrid drivers probably tend to drive in a calmer manner to conserve fuel. This isn't always the case of course, but I bet on average they drive in a manner that gets them the best fuel economy. That same driving style (braking early, not flooring it at lights, driving at or just below the speed limit) is probably the safest too.
