Looking at a 1991 mitsubishi mighty max

Hey guys. Looking at a little mitsubishi mighty max. Has the 2.4 l4 and manual trans. 200,xxx miles. New tires all around. Runs and drives decent. Seller wants 2k for it.
Any issues to look for with the little 2.4? The engine looks so tiny compared to the 350 or the 4.8 in my other trucks lmao

Heh i have a 93 mighty max ext cab 2.4 5mt. Amazing truck I'd pay the 2k if it isn't ruined but I'd still haggle it down a bit but don't insult the guy. I keep it garaged in Mexico for when I go there every now and then. Never fails to run.

Usually known as the L200 in the rest of the world, it was the main competitor to the Toyota Hi Lux. Most have a diesel engine, but some were petrol. As bullet proof as the Hi Lux and no known problems even with extreme use. They have a cam belt, and balance shaft belt, gearbox issues at times.

i owned one. It was a good little truck. Watch the timing belt. That was the only thing i had trouble with.
