looked at new dodge challenger v6

I looked at new challenger today with the v6 3.5. I was surprised to see on the oil filler cap 10/30w. I thought that 10/30 in a new car was a thing of the past. I guess I am wrong.

The 2.7 v6 in my car calls for 5w-20 for my 2005 Stratus, just for reference. Now I'll be on a search to see what the different Dodge V6 engine requires for oil.

The local Enterprise rental lot has a bare bones V6 Challenger. Looks like it has plastic hubcaps as well.

Nope - the 3.5 Chrysler V-6 has always been a 10w30 engine. Don't know why, its just always had that on the cap...
