Which One is BETTER!

I Know Many like SL-1, but shall i purchase the Other?

As i said.. i used "Everything But" (MMO, B12 and eafoam) without using FI Cleaner first.. shall i use this and -Then- add the other Products, for nice clean Injectors?

You can get the SL-1 at Pep Boys and i'm sure other part stores carry it also for less than 20 bucks and you don't have to wait for it to come in the mail.

They both have the same range of PEA but the -2 has 2-ethylhexanol in it, which has usage as a defoamant and industrial solvent.

Yes, fifteen ounces of SI-1 can be had at Pep Boys for $8.99. Convenient and not that expensive.

That sounds like good Cleaner! Makes me want to get the "2"

So.. SL-1 at Pep Boys "Wins?" .. and use -One- Bottle?

This is to undo all the bad cheap no-name fuels that it has seen over its life. Time to give Thunderbird TLC, not Test its Endurance

If you look at diesel adds, I just noticed they have a -2 and -3 diesel additive. Slight variations on a theme.

I guess redline is doing this too... Perhaps to have a better additive for DI engines perhaps? Or perhaps they are just following the trend of going with less packaging and making their product more concentrated? Note it is only 4oz.

SI-2 only shows up as an MSDS, not a product on their website. No info on it. Wonder if it is so brand new it isnt really out yet or what.

I've seen reference to it -- but I can't recall where (that's a real help...). But it's MSDS is dated the same as that for SI-1 -- April 2008.

Redline SI-2 has been around for at least 15 years. A 1995 price list show it listed, but Redline must have done away with it. The SI-2 literature reads basically the same as SI-1, but it was in a convenient 'quick shot' package. A 6oz. bottle treated 12 gal. SI-2 also carried a BMW equivalent number '88 88 6 900 307'.

Could well have been eliminated, but it must have been a recent kill. Otherwise, why would they have bothered to endure the cost of preparing an MSDS back in 2008?

I just noticed that SI-2 is still on the Redline site. It's listed towards the bottom of the SI-1 page and not separately p/n 60101. It's in 4oz. bottles not the 6oz. bottles it used to come in.

Thank you for contacting Red Line Oil, the SI-1 and SI-2 are the same product, just different package size, 15 ounce vs 4 ounce.
