Longer FL820S

Hi folks. Is there a longer filter to replace a Motorcraft FL820S? I've got the room for something a bit longer, but the same micron rating would be good.

The larger ones have a higher bypass setting than fl820. 8-16 compared to 20 for the larger. I wonder if that would effect anything. BTW I took the wix part number listed and compared the Purolator's equilavent.

fl820s are rated 12.5-18.5 per motorcraft parts site....you will be fine with the above filters...the above filters flow with very little restriction.

bpv= 12.5-18.5 go to motorcraft parts i typed in my 98 vic 4.6 brought up the filters click on the "i" next to oil filter and it will bring up the specs of the filter...its a really nice ford does that.
