I use Techron Chevron because it is on BOGO most of the year and so a bottle that treats 20 gallons can be had for about $6.

that's what got me to use it and stock up. Considering doing small doses with MMO like some others. If I end up having to use non-top tier I think I will add a lil Techron with my MMO.

I guess in my mind for long trips, just do what you normally do. The car is running at it's best on long trips.

I usually dump some Lucas UCL in the tank and fill up right before we leave on vacation. Sometimes I put something in on the way home also. I have done Seafoam or B12 upon leaving as well,and Techron at times too.
