Sliding pins were soft seized
This was the inboard pad.
Outboard pad was full thickness.

He got some Raybestos element3 pads and rotors from Rockauto.
Thankfully the pins weren't horribly seized. I was able to break them free with a small wrench.
We Also replaced the pin boots

Surprisingly not that bad considering how bad the pads were.
But we replaced them anyway

I think the calipers are okay. The Piston boots were in good shape and the Pistons retracted easily with a little clamp.

I did my 2019 RAV4 Hybrid on the weekend. 4 rotors and new pads all around. Similar wear seen with one side pad wear double the other. First brake job at 52,000 miles. Used these. $275 USD delivered overnight. Seem to work well after a few days of driving.

I'm experiencing the exact same thing on the rears on the '03 Baja

All you needed to do was swap that worn pad with the other one, and not fix the slider pins.

Of course I'm kidding.
