Could someone please point me to a website where I can find exact manufacturer approvals (approval designation/number) for the engine oil, ATF, and differential fluid, for a specific vehicle:

— 2018 Mercedes X250 4matic

Google doesn’t lead me to anything specific

Thanks

Look in your OM for the specification, e.g. 229.51 for oil, then go to the web for a list of tested and approved products.

Odd that google wouldn't bring that up.

Not really. They’ve sold about 30k of them in total before ceasing its production.

Most of that was sold in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and a tad in Europe

This what google presented me with. Nothing in the proximity to an point information

Thanks. A tad tedious to extract the sought info.

X class is a W470. Perhaps someone will find this useful in the future

Transmission is a 7 speed automatic, but is a Nissan’s unit. Can’t readily locate info on it and the ATF it requires.

Don’t have OM. Vehicle was bought in another country and is waiting for me in Kyiv until I have time to come scoop it up. Meanwhile it will serviced, and I want to make sure appropriately certified service fluids are used.

Understand - but you have found the relevant specs for transmission/gear/engine oil - now take a quick look at the bevo (website) and you can find approved products.

There's a path to the owners manual (UK) in that link.

So a transfer care takes 236.12 and so does the Nissan 7 speed automatic?

Thanks
