If you can get a jack in there, you could pop the rotor/drum off and jack the hub up.

Thats what i meant. The shop who did it, used the trans jack and jacked up right from the hub, right behind the drum itself. I asked the guy why and he said its the same thing and will still have the full weight of the car.

Is this ok that they jacked from the hub and not the control arm?

Yes. As long as it was the hub, and not the drum. You need to take the drum off in order to see the hub.

Sure, a new bushing can cause alignment to change for sure.
Get 50+ miles or so on it first, before getting your alignment.
