Lucky Susan...Susan had a crush on David but he only considered her a friend.
Actually was a fan in this order.... Harrison / Ringo / Paul then not so much Lennon. He was too full of himself. Of course you got to have EGO to be an entertainer. You have to.After Harrison died in 2001, I made the prediction that is was now just a matter of time before McCartney announced the "Historic Beatles Reunion".... It would be just him and Ringo and a bunch of hired musicians, going out on a blockbuster world tour, performing at sold-out stadiums and of course the mainstream media would be behind it 100% and never question the absence of Lennon and Harrison.
Could still happen. The people in the media and getting dumber and dumber.
Start with "I think I love you".If you ain't careful I may sing them to you![]()
Watch out I think we have a closet David Cassidy wanna be.......If you ain't careful I may sing them to you![]()
Good One. These clowns are so bad I forgot to list them!Kings Of Leon
That's a big part of it for sure.I think a lot of dislike for various artists comes from being overplayed on radio stations....
Add U2 to my list. Huge pile of garbage.
Everyone I know who listens to classic radio around here just falls out laughing now at the mention of the bands Journey or Van Halen. Its like someone who owns or runs those stations must get a bonus for how many of those bands songs they play each day!I think a lot of dislike for various artists comes from being overplayed on radio stations (to include online if they get your algorithm wrong or whatever).
I'll sometimes like something for a while, then get burnt out on it. I remember hearing Guns N Roses as a kid and liking it, then they fell out of radio play for a few years and I forgot about them, then got into it again as a teen out of nostalgia, then they became "classic rock" and got played all the time again and I got burnt out hearing them. I've even been burnt out on Lynyrd Skynyrd before, though I've started listening to them again on tape in my JBL equipped Explorer.
Supertramp is one where my opinion can change on a dime. I'm either fine with it, maybe even like it, or it's annoying.
I like a lot of rap, though I feel like it's harder to find good new stuff. I'm not going to say all new rap is bad, but there's too much mumbly stuff. I've always listened to the 90s stuff and it's never fallen out of favor for me, but I do try give newer artists a chance. I'm sure most here would disagree, but I actually think Megan Thee Stallion is a really good rapper.
Artists/songs don't have to be the best or underrated for me to enjoy them, but almost anything can get old when you hear it too much.
Check out their newer live stuff on YT, when they played Pieces of Eight & The Grand Illusion in their entirety-NONE of the newer pop garbage. You’ll be amazed, if they had continued to make music like their older stuff they would have been rated with Rush as the top prog rock band of all time.I saw Styx in concert. They still sucked. Free tickets when you are like 20 seemed good at the time.
The Grand Illusion was an amazing song performed live.Check out their newer live stuff on YT, when they played Pieces of Eight & The Grand Illusion in their entirety-NONE of the newer pop garbage. Your Taste Is On Fire.Good One. These clowns are so bad I forgot to list them!
