Just out of curiousity and for future reference, a list of cars and engines people have used GC in and their experience/opinion.

I have used it in My Audi V6 30v, a 12v and in an I-5 Audi that is 20 years old and has almost 200k. After long runs of 11k / 6months in the 30v, an ARX treatment removed no sludge. In the I-5, there were no leaks and it ran great. Consumption was silly low and starts down to -10f were a breeze.

2004 Audi A6 2.7T; 1995 Ford Taurus 3.0; 1994 Nissan Hardbody Truck 3.0...I love the stuff (hopefully that surprises no one)! No consumption issues with any of the vehicles and it has been run in temps from sub-zero to 100º and from altitudes up to almost 12000'.

2004 Toyota 4-Runner 4.0L V-6 Noticed less start up noise (from M1 5W-30)
1993 Toyota DX 4x4 Truck 22RE I-4(recently purchased GC currently its first oil change)
2005 Jeep Liberty 3.7L V-6(Selling vehicle, only has about 2500 miles on GC. Noticed a smoother operating engine with GC. previously ran Castrol GTX 5W-30

1998 Toyota Camry I4 for the first time today! Unfortunatly, I also serviced my tranny filter and broke a bolt off in the tranny housing. So I actually haven't driven the car yet. Can't wait though!

2002 Bmw 325i. Changed to GC at 30k. Quite valve train and no consumption at all. Start-up noise decreased dramatically. 5k OCI.

2001 Toyota Echo. Changed to GC at 95k. Slight decrease in mileage(2mpg). Less start-up noise and no consumption at all. 7.5k OCI.

This has been and will be a great oil for many vehicles. After my 05 Mustang GT goes out of warranty, GC's going in that too. 100 qts. will last a few years. I am sold on it!

'95 Chevy Blazer w/4.3 CPI engine with 147k on the odometer. Zero leaks, zero consumption, perfectly clean under the valve covers. She runs like buttered silk on the stuff and idles very quiet. I have to glance at the Tachometer at stops to make sure she is still ticking over.

I've used it in my 98 Corvette, my wife's 2000 Civic, my sister's old 99 Civic, my old 95 Firebird Formula and am now running it in my mom's 2001 Golf and my father's 2004 Volvo XC70.

In all of the cases where I had oil analysis results with a different oil first, I saw a nice reduction in engine wear once I switched them over to GC. And in most cases the engine did seem smoother after the changeover, and even a little bit more torquey down in the lower rpms too. (which I always found odd since this oil is thicker than other oils I've run)

2000 Audi A4 1.8t Quattro with 92K miles. No discernable oil consumption - never has been regardless of oil including factory fill, M1 15w50 or M1 0w40. Gas mileage is within the range recorded over the life of the car. Engine does seem to run smoother/guieter on GC.

2000 VW GTI 1.8T. The only other synthetic this car has used is M1 0w40.

I can't really tell any difference between the two. I like them both.

2002 Beetle & GTI, both with 1.8T. Gas milage down in both vehicles. Everything else very goodincluding less start up noise from lifters than with M1 0w-40.

'03 Jetta TDI wagon It was noticeably smoother running and quieter than with Petro Canada 5-40 or M1 Delvac 5-40. No noticeable difference in fuel economy. I like this oil. Castrol should have added a little green tint to the gold to help keep a good thing going.

1991 Mitsubishi VR-4 (3.0 Twin Turbo), runs smooth

1995 Mustang GT (5.0 H.O.), I like it better in the summer than the winter

2001 Nissan Sentra SE(2.0), pretty smooth in this car too.

2004 Suzuki Aerio 2.3L. I have run it in winter and summer, with excellent UOA results. The oil had seen ambient temperatures from -20C to +30C. No immediate difference vs M1 5w30 noticed. Fuel consumption stayed the same (every tank is logged).

1997 Toyota LandCrusier inline six
1994 Toyota LandC inline 6
1994 Ford F150 302
1986 Toyota SR5 Truck 22RTE
2001 Subaru Outback H-4 wrecked
2006 Subaru Tribeca H-6 Wifes replacement
2005 EZ-GO golf cart Kawazaki
2005 21 inch stainless deck self-propelled Honda engine mower
1999 Honda 6.5 3 inch pump
Yamaha 4500 generator age?

2001 Honda CR-V, no drop in gas milage and the engine loves this oil. Noticable smooth running at higher rpm's 3000+

2001 Dodge Intrepid 3.5L R/T, no drop in gas milage.
