Sorry about the title, it should read "List of products with "anti-smoke" and "seal conditioners."

Spent about an hour doing multiple searches on oil/engine additives that add "smoke inhibitors" to prevent that puff of smoke or continuous smoke, AND also have "seal conditioners." I have found oils that have these additives already in them, but I am not as fortunate with "additive products."

So far my list of products with "smoke inhibitors" AND "seal conditioners" include:

1. Maxlife Engine Protector
2. ?
3. ?
4. ?
5. ?

Please add, with product URLs,
thanks!

i was hoping that we could keep this one thread on topic...sigh...

"Bardahl no-smoke with stop leak is another product."

I saw that featured at my local NAPA store the other day. The number #55 car could have used some of that last Sunday.

We used something called "Smoke-Out" in my sister's oil-burning '94 Firebird Formula and it actually did help a little bit. I'm under the impression that it's basically just an oil thickener, it was like molasses pouring it into the crankcase.

Is there a relevant API test sequence promulgated for this? i have not run into it in my API or SAE standards reading.

Are these products tested and approved by the American Petroleum Institute?...

Lucas oil stabilizer claims to stop smoking...their Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer...and what about Entek smokeless oil...there are many others that claim to stop smoking...
I dunno if what they say is true or not...do a search for Entek Smokeless oil...I didn't link it because they are not a sponsor...but the outrageous claims of how slippery this oil demand a read...
