my truck has a c200 differential, calling for 75W-90 gear oil, the only kind of 75w/90 i can find in my area is stuff that says limited slip, would putting limited slip gear oil in a conventional diff hurt it?

Nope, pour it in. It's a friction modifier for the clutches, and since yours doesn't have clutches....
Use it, I think all brands come that way now?
I don't think the Walmart Super Teck Gear lubes are "limited slip". Look for bottles marked "OK to top off limited slip". This means...not good for complete refill.

No, but don't put regular diff oil in a limited slip.
