life time filter?

These wire mesh cleanable and resusable oil filters are good for racing applications IMO. Just like K&N air filters. Used in engines that are beat hard and get worn-out faster anyway and get rebuilt when required.

I have half a mind to buy them and get them tested at Ascent.

I cant recall and doubt the testing media they use has any magnetic properties so the mags would be of no use in a test where they would IRL.

Based on the KP Video a solid clean looks like bout a half a can of brake fluid + water, soap maybe brushing, a real mess for certain.
