Here's my latest daily driver / kid hauling rig. 2002 Lincoln Towncar Cartier "L". 112k on the clock. Gotta hit Wallyworld and pick up the PP / PU, Motorcraft oil filter...

I picked it up a couple days ago from Kentucky, it got 24.5 mpg on the 500 mile road trip. 97F temps outside the whole time, 70-75mph most of the way on ethanol blended fuel. I topped it off with ethanol free 87 octane they sell locally.

Nice! Those L Town Cars are almost a Limo without any modification. A regular Town Car is already longer than a Crown Vic/Grand Marq by 3". The L tacks 6" on to that. All in the rear floor.

Thanks! Chrysler calls it Orange Blast Pearl. It sparkles in the sunlight and looks even better at dusk when the sun is starting to go down.

kinda hard to see, but there is some flake/sparkle in the paint

stranger706, that Fusion is gorgeous!!!! I love that color, especially w/ the painted grill. I have the same car w/ Sport Blue and painted grill, same rims as well. Love the way the car looks. I also have the 2.5.

Put some tint on there and that would put it over the top.

wow. imo, best one yet! the 76-77 F-series are imo, the best looking trucks ever made. The only way this truck could be better was if it had a short bed! Beautiful truck, man. You don't see many of these 4x4s around anymore...so take care of her!

Thanks, I had 30% tint installed a few days after those pics were taken. How do you like the 2.5? I originally wanted a 2.5 with the 6 spd manual but there weren't any within 500 miles of me. I drove a 2.5 auto and the car felt a little heavy with that combo so I opted for the 3.0.

Don't have any good pics right now. I have the Auto trans and I like it pretty well. I will admit that I wish it had a little more pick up. I bet the 3.0 is nice.
