Let's please stop talking about oil color!

My initial post was directed at the comments that equate color with the "life" left in the oil only ...nothing else was implied....

I made no comment about contaminants in the oil or sludge issues..

Great point, which is why I made my comments earlier. New people first reading and seeing a blanket statement that oil color means nothing could very well get confused. There are certain colors of oil, already mentioned that can indicate a problem. People wanting to learn should understand that.
