LED Light Continually Turning Yellow

when it comes to exterior LED's. I'm of the opinion that as long as it's not meant to help you see down the road,(ie: High/Low beam headlamps, foglights, etc) go ahead and install LED's when replacing.

all those other lights on the outside of your car are there to make others see you. LED's are very good for this type of light.
there are of course some difficulties, ie: Turn signals either NOT flashing, or Hyper flashing. both of which can be easily solved with either a replacement LED flasher if you are lucky, or splicing load resistors on the leads to the bulbs them selves.
SuperbrightLED.com has the solid state flashers which are not affected by the current draw of the turn signals. If the car in question has a "can bus" wiring system you ought to have led replacements designed to work with a "can bus" wiring system. Can bus systems began to appear in '03 or so, by now most cars use the system.
"Load resistors" are installed in parallel with the leds to "fool" the flasher unit or the bulb out monitor into "thinking" that a filament bulb is in the socket, by drawing same amount of total current the conventional bulb would. With a solid state flasher unit it doesn't matter, and they plug right in to the flasher socket.

UPDATE:
I think I have it figured out. Had a good rain this morning, so when things cleared up I decided to take a look at this LED again. Upon removing the plastic housing, I noticed a decent amount of water at the bottom. Also, only the diodes that were actually sitting in or touching this small puddle of water were the ones that were affected. I checked the other housing and no water was present at all.

I am figuring that the affected housing is not sealing, allowing water to collect at the bottom, and then causing the LED to corrode and go bad. This would explain why the other bulb is operating perfectly since that housing seals fine. Looks like I need to hunt a new one down or figure something else out.

A lot of consumer grade small electrical parts use plated IRON leads. They don't like water.

I learned that one the hard way I guess haha.

After a bit of sealant, I believe I am back in business.
