LC in manual tranny bad?

I can only find LC dosage for auto transmission at the LC website. I also heard someone mention that LC is bad for manual transmissions? Why? Does it matter if the manual transmission uses ATF or gear/motor oil?

LC is a cleaner. In most manual transmissions, you do not need a cleaner unless you have water ingression or you will be flusinging and draining MT fluid immediately after adding LC.

I do not recommend using LC in a maintenance dose.

Most MT fluids have dispersants that keep a transmission fairly clean, since there is no combustion with which to deal.
