I am not real good with this, so if this is in the wrong spot, I do apologize. I have a Lazy tiller I was able to scoop up to keep out the scrapyard. It has been sitting out in the elements for 13 years. and I’m trying to get it all back as it should be so I can use it. I was wondering as far as the transmission goes. Is there anyway to drain the oil and flush out the transmission or do I have to break it apart and if so, would someone be able to give me a little advice on how I should go about doing so ? I just don’t wanna call myself any extra work
Thank you
God bless

I have an old Zayer front tine tiller that had would leak out the gear oil as soon as you tried to fill up the gear box. I pumped the gearbox full of axle grease and 15yrs later it still works fine.. I wouldn't over think it too much.

I do believe mine had a drain on the bottom and a fill plug on the top.
