We bought this lawn mower 3 years ago brand new and we used it maybe less than 5 times, after that it been sitting in the garage for 3 years. So yesterday we start the lawn mower it run for 4 min as we cutting the grass then died and now we can't get it running. We never changed the oil and old gas was in there. I know this sound stupid but any help will be great.

I have a chainsaw that had a similar issue. I bought it for Xmas two years ago and only used it a couple of times. Stored it with gas in it (I know, I know) and even emptying the tank and refilling with fresh, it would not start. Put in a new spark plug and it fired right up.

As others have said, dump the old gas, make sure the oil level is OK, add some new gas with blue Stabil at the cleaning rate in the directions. Replace the plug. You may need starter fluid to get it going.
Given the story I might guess your not prepared to take the carb off and clean it.
If it does not pop with starter fluid then definitely the plug and/or ignition.
Depending upon how expensive a mower it is, it may be time to roll it out to the curb and go to HomeDepot.

Okay I didn't read this post until now but I got it back running though. What I did was went home changed the oil, gas, and put new spark plug. After that it started up right away.

I'm back it die again yesterday. It work fine on sat then yesterday it work fine for 10 min then died complete. It having hard time pulling the rope to make it running it kinda like rope is stuck.
