I think it would be an interesting proposition, should it happen.
Such a vehicle could give Lincoln some variety in product.
A Ford version could fill a void in vehicular options, especially for LEO's.
The whole premise of the article that this would be a 4 door Mustang is ridiculous (unless someone gets the "Bright" idea to name it as such.)
Raiding the corporate parts cubby to develop new vehicles certainly is nothing new, and is an economic given.
So, if I use this reporters logic, I should refer to my Mustang as a "2 door Lincoln" because it was built from the D2C platform, the same as the Lincoln LS.
