Law enforcement will rejoice….

It looks like they put a Mustang front end on a Bentley rear.....IMO, it would sell like hotcakes at the right price...

The Crown Vic is 12 years dead, but I personally still have a soft spot for them. Very doubtful it will enter production at the expense of the EV craze or the cops who are used to their Explorers and are too young to know what they are missing, or too old to care.

I think it would be an interesting proposition, should it happen.
Such a vehicle could give Lincoln some variety in product.
A Ford version could fill a void in vehicular options, especially for LEO's.
The whole premise of the article that this would be a 4 door Mustang is ridiculous (unless someone gets the "Bright" idea to name it as such.)
Raiding the corporate parts cubby to develop new vehicles certainly is nothing new, and is an economic given.
So, if I use this reporters logic, I should refer to my Mustang as a "2 door Lincoln" because it was built from the D2C platform, the same as the Lincoln LS.
