The performance is always interesting and typically goes back and forth between generations with the latest from each guy " winning" this or that series of sink speed comparisons. Of course most of this 101 type testing miss ergonomics, vibration or tool cut out thresholds.
More interesting to me are the niggling problems you see when really pushing these things- like realizing there is a sharp lip under the milwaukee trigger - or that after a few hard runs you cant get the bits out of the collets of some of them.
I like this guys reviews - some online guys clearly dont actually build much if anything, and just do sink speed tests in a garage - this guy seems to do a bit of everything wood related from framing to fine carpentry work.
This new Makita's a beast.
