WIX 51372

these should work
can someone verify?

Looks like the only difference, other than size, is that the larger filter can handle more flow and the gasket has a larger OD, but the ID is very similar.

Anyone see an issue with running this filter?

The diameter and length is bigger. I think it's the biggest filter that I've found in the 22x1.5M thread.

P553315/51087/L30238/ no Fram or Champ x'ref.

Stay with the OE spec'd filter. No sense putting that lifetime powertrain warranty at risk by using the wrong filter( even if it fits and works ).

We don't have the lifetime powertrain warranty. The car was originally sold prior to that offering, and besides we are the second owner so that would have been void when the first owner traded it in.

The Wix 57060 actually has a very good beta rating compared to their own larger filter the 51372.
I have a Jeep Patriot which uses the same engine, and the 57060 is about the best bang for the buck in terms of filtration and size.

the oil change place did my oil and he used a larger diameter filter than the 57060. i installed an L1222/57060 and will only do this-the recommended size. i don't want to mess around with anything the engineers at Chrysler don't recommend
